Sean’s auditing career spans 23 years at the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the Departments of Interior and Homeland Security (DHS).  Among other awards, he was the recipient of CIGIE’s “Glenn/Roth Award for Exemplary Service” and the DHS-OIG “Meritorious Service Award.”  Sean is currently a Director in the DHS-OIG Office of Audits and focuses on law enforcement and terrorism programs and topics.  

He is a U.S. Coast Guard certified instructor and has taught classes focused on auditing skills; cognitive and behavioral preferences; navigating difficult conversations; and building and maintaining trust.
